The Tough Trek & Tough Touring Australia Team provide a supported Tour Experience - Allowing internationals to explore the Australian Outback in old Land rover vehicles - The tour is a 'You drive' off road Adventure - We supply fully set up Self Sufficient Remote area touring vehicles - At present there is a Range Rover Sport (2007) a Discovery 2 (2003) and a couple of Discovery 3 (2006) (Probably the most suitable vehicle for this trip) - All are equipped with Roof top tents, Extended Fuel tanks, 240V power, Portable Kitchens, Tables, Chairs etc. The Crossing of the continent is 'Guided' and supported by a 'tag along' staff member that can help with break downs, route info, and local knowledge to keep you out of trouble on your journey... The trek across the Australian Continent is approximatly 5,000km, with around 400 Hwy Kms between offroad destinations each camp. Most campsites are only a few kms of offroading from the main route, but some areas the main route itself is extremely remote. - Mostly we'll be Remote area Camping in our Group of 4 Vehicles. If you need to leave the group and stay in accommodation here and there - there are a few points along the way where this is possible - PM me and I can aim you in the right direction. We carry everything we need and search out swimming and washing areas along the way. There are many hot springs along the route. Quite amazing.
We carry all food and water with us.

​What happens if my flights are delayed?
There is no stress or concern if your flight is delayed or issues arise on the way - we have a 2 day cleaning and repair 'layover' at each location where the Tour Leader and any of the group continuing enjoy the location and run repairs / errands etc. Try arrive on Day 1 and Find us - we use 'Whatts App" location settings to track progress, and we are always findable via Phone app. ​Trip Planning -

Pricing Guide
The Tour operates on a 'Vehicle rental' basis at $8000 AUD for the 14 days. This fee includes our 'tag along' Guide who will travel with / behind the group as a helpfull guide and recovery hand / responsible for keeping the group on time and managing the repairs on the Trucks... (The Vehicles have nation wide Tow recovery Insurance). Food/ Food / Fuel /are Not provided. In the Event of Your Tour vehicle breaking down, Our Tag along team member will be carrying most spares and parts to keep the vehicles going to the next leg, where proper repairs can be carried out if and as required for the next group.
